In the village centre, 1 km from Châlain, this bistro was reopened in 2013, completely renovated. The friendly atmosphere of the room is reflected in Sandrine's smile, attentive and efficient. 130 people can be accommodated. Chef Olivier Quillot's cuisine is based on fresh, local and quality products. At lunchtime, the buffet attracts young and old alike. The hearty dishes, well presented, are available in regional recipes and grilled meats. The desserts made are delicious to perfection. Natural and organic wines occupy the best place on the menu. The panoramic view from the shaded terrace on the garden side is a delight for the eyes. Culinary theme evenings with a musical background on Fridays follow each other at a steady pace. Groups can come and celebrate all year round by reservation. A country bistro like we would like to see more of it reborn.

Very sweet little restaurant, pleasant décor and simple.
Very friendly staff.
We went mid-September and could enjoy the first " clubs chaudes" season. A delight! Very good hearty dishes, wines recommended… for a very reasonable price: around £ 50 for two for aperitifs, wines and dishes.
The restaurant has a bar (but separate) to finish the evening nicely.
