OGF

In France, about 140 000 solid wooden coffins are manufactured every year by OGF, in its factories in Reyrieux in Ain and Jussey in Haute-Saone. It is 1 national, but also European leader of the funeral. The coffins are in Landes pine or oak in the Vosges and their manufacture lasts about 3 weeks. Business is green: solvents in coffins have been removed and are used only for biodegradable glues; waste is resold charcoal and, for a tree felled, a tree is planted.
