If you want to know everything about the life of our ancestors, but you do not particularly like the idea of going down under the ground, the Grotte de Villars has found the solution: a path and the reconstitution of the prehistoric camp have been built in the 2-acre park that surrounds it. Accessible to strollers, kids and adults can discover for approximately one hour the way of life and the habitat of the man of Cro-Magnon: who was he? Which animals did he live with? How did he hunt? Which plants did he eat? All with quiz, brainteaser and botanical panels to light the visitor and the 2016 novelty: the reproduction of a megaceros and a woolly rhinoceros in life-size. Educational workshops give even the possibility of training yourself for the shooting with a propellent or for cave art only during school holidays.
