Water mill in Vézac rehabilitated to produce walnut oil, hazelnut oil, truffle olive oil, and flour. Free visit.
The water mill of Trel, which depended on the lords of Beynac, was put back into operation in 2016 by Pascal Vidal, a milling enthusiast. After an important restoration of the building and the restitution of the 800 kg wheel, he was able to restart the production of walnut oil, hazelnut oil, truffled olive oil, and walnut flour. You will appreciate the beauty of the site, which receives the waters of an abundant stream, retained by a reach dug in the rock. In addition to the visit, it is possible to attend the production on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and to taste the walnut oil.
