Consecrated in 1147 and classified as a historic monument in 1938, it was the seat of the Archiprêtré de la Double, which included 41 parishes until the French Revolution. This gives you an idea of the cultural and religious influence this sacred site could have had! Today, the church has been completely restored, and its marvels are on full display: 17th-century altarpiece, sculpted capitals, Latin inscriptions for the repose of souls, baroque organ...
