Read moreTo south-east of Loue, a few kilometres before Lods, you can taste and of course buy wines certified Wines from Franche-Comté. In the past, the vines covered the slopes of the Loue Valley, the houses whose entrance, raised, dominates the access to the cellars. For a long time, wine had almost disappeared from the landscape, but a decade ago, the Association for development and animation of the Loue valley (Ruranim) undertook to reactivate the production of local wine. More than 6 ha of vines were remodelled and planted in Pinot noir, Chardonnay and Auxerre. Production has steadily increased since then, and the result is astonishing.
