Located at an altitude of 268 m, the village of Thenon was a "castrum", a defensive position limited to the west by ditches that are now filled in. We recommend the Saint-Martial church of the 12th century, the rue des arts et des saveurs, where producers, craftsmen, creators and artists have taken place in small shops. Thenon's pond and its open-air café offer, a few steps from the city, a place of tranquillity during the day and entertainment in the evening.
