Salting Salting, a family company transmitted from generation to generation for over a century, has a special reputation in the country of Haut-Doubs. It has just been taken over by the company Decreuse, which continues tradition. A reputation that has spread far beyond the Comtois areas, driven by the heritage of their know-how and respect for manufacturing methods. For example, the Saucisse sausage, stamped by the first French regional label, has recently obtained the PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) which guarantees the local provenance of the raw materials.
