As a worthy heir of his father Joël, Pierre Fumey has happily perpetuated his father's potter's know-how. But he left to settle a little further north in this commune adjoining the tourist city of Quingey in the Doubs, in the direction of Besançon. There is therefore, alas, no potter in Etrepigney after 600 years of this craft tradition in this village near the forest of Chaux. He is a gifted, welcoming, communicative artist who will welcome you where he turns and kneads objects for everyday use and original works of beauty. Innovative forms too, but what intrigues this artist a lot is the art he has of juggling with the "blues", a palette that seems infinite shades. Pierre Fumey is a welcome guest, but also shows himself on many professional markets throughout the year.
