Association whose objective is to promote the artist Courbet in his native country
This association aims to promote the artist Courbet in his native country, but not only. A dynamic is engaged in particular for the acquisition of works of the artist, objects, documents related to this artist with international fame. Thus, the portrait of Juliette, the artist's sister, has been added to the permanent collection of the eponymous museum. Books and writings have enriched the collections thanks to the impetus of this association in close partnership with the Department of Doubs and the Courbet Museum. An association that deserves to be followed and financially supported as the results of its actions are convincing for the enrichment of the collections and the knowledge of the great artist that is Courbet.
