Typical house in Ornans with a terrace serving fresh pasta, pizzas and local fish specialties.

Le Chavot has been living in a typical Ornans house on the banks of the Loue for 40 years. You can enjoy elaborate strong dishes: morel mushroom crust in yellow wine, salmon trout fillets, risotto risotto brick with saffron, pike quenelle and smoked trout vol-au-vent, perch frying, not to mention meat dishes, fresh pasta and pizzas. Note that the fish specialities (perch and trout) are local. The little extra is not the outdoor terrace on the street side but the terrace on the Loue which offers a view of the most picturesque and characteristic of the village.

Low season: open from Thursday to Monday for lunch and dinner; Tuesday for lunch. High season: every day for lunch and dinner. From March to June and in September, open every day for lunch and dinner except Wednesday. Booking recommended. Single menu at 38 €. Card: about 45 €. Children's menu: 7,90 € (under 12 years old). Salads 15 to 20 €. Pizzas. Takeaway sale. Catering service on 03 81 62 49 83.

Je recommande ce petit restaurant où nous avons très bien déjeuné, avec une vu directe sur La Loue ( bien demander les bords de rivière, ils ont également une terrasse en borde de route) Excellent accueil et très qualitatif !

Le seul intérêt de ce restaurant et la vue sur la rivière depuis la véranda au dessus de la Loue. L’attente est assez importante pour être servi, nous avons pris deux pizzas cuites au feu de bois, mais malheureusement beaucoup trop cuite. La pâte est fine et sèche les aliments dessus sont de piètre qualité, culinairement c’est très décevant.
