No fewer than 200 authors are expected to take part in these intense moments of sharing. The festival features a number of high points due to the renown of the participants, presenting their works as well as new releases. It's a great cultural and festive event not to be missed by all lovers of fine literature!

Celebrated in September 2024 at several venues in Besançon, Livres dans la Bouche is one of France's most important literary festivals. This major literary event brings together book lovers, writers and various local players. As part of this event, you'll be able to discover the new releases of the fall season, as well as a range of books to delight young and old alike. It's also a not-to-be-missed opportunity to meet the authors of your favorite novels, as well as brilliant scriptwriters and illustrators.
