The Royal Saltworks of Arc-et-Senans is a former salt factory from the 18th century, a rare testimony of industrial architecture listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While the site is closed during this period of confinement, life goes on at the site, with the presence of a small team who, respecting the gestures of the barriers, are working on the preparation of the 20th Royal Saltworks Garden Festival on the theme "The Circus is nostalgia for paradise", a poetic rendezvous that they hope to be able to offer to the public this summer. Work also continues on future development projects and to maintain the link with visitors, the various professionals who keep the place alive all year round offer social network meetings with: recipe ideas from the restaurant's chef, proposals for children's activities, reading tips and ideas for maintaining the vegetable garden. Without forgetting the participation in the #culture chez nous movement created by the Ministry of Culture, the Royal Saltworks thus offers the possibility of accessing its cultural offer in digital format.
