A table recommended for its access from the river with a canoe or for its meals which are very well cooked.
At the edge of the Dordogne, in a peaceful and ideal place to spend vacations, the farm of Envaux welcomes you. The restaurant is a concentrate of Perigord, the duck and the potatoes of Sarlatan are of course in the honor. Meals are served in an air-conditioned room or on one of the terraces. You can also take advantage of the store which proposes local products and decide to stay on the spot by renting one of the guest rooms or the gite.

Probably the best meal and the best atmosphere in our five week trip to France this summer.
We have travelled by motorhome around France every summer for over twenty years and this was an experience to remember. We will definitely return as we cannot fault the food, atmosphere or owners. I can only thank everyone for making this such a memorable evening.
So friendly, so helpful so good. I wish ever restaurant in France was like this.
I wish all the very best to the lovely family who own and run this restaurant. We will definitely return . I am so glad we came here as we had not planned to.

Après une escapade plus qu'agréable en canoë nous sommes passés en famille boire un verre dans cet endroit. Au moment de régler l'addition nous nous sommes fait agresser par la fille de la gérante des lieux qui n'a pas accepter que nous soyons simplement étonnés de ne pas payer en terrasse. Insultes, arogence, agressivité qui dépasse tout entendement ! Au point de tutoyer d insulter et de demander de DÉGAGER alors que nous voulions simplement régler notre addition. Un scandale que nous ne pouvons accepter lors d une sortie en famille avec des enfants ! La seule excuse trouvée à été de la part de la gérante spécifiant que sa fille a trop travaillé ! je suis outrée ! Chères familles FUIEZ !

Un gâchis pour cet endroit pourtant bien localisé. Nous étions un groupe de 10 on avait réservé à 20h30. A peine arrivée on nous annonce qu'il n'y a plus d'onglet ni d'entre côté. Dommage car l'alternative est le hamburger. Pareil pour le vin, seul vin rouge qu'il reste un pecharmant. Idem pour les desserts. Un vrai sketch! Les enfants vont jouer vers les cuisines et entendent le cuisiner qui gromelle:s'ils ne sont pas contents qu'ils aillent se faire foudre et manger ailleurs. Bref une expérience que nous ne sommes pas prêts de renouveler. Heureusement qu'il y avait un concert ce soir là, cela nous a aider à faire passer la pilule et les 400eur et qlq d'addition
