Museum in Corte, presenting a panorama of the culture and traditions of rural Corsica at the top of the Corsican identity
The visit to the museum is part of the discovery of the citadel: the oldest and only one built inland, with as its strong point U Castellu, the eagle's nest that was built in 1419 by Vincentello of Istria, in the pay of the King of Aragon. Opened in June 1997, the museum presents a panorama of the culture and traditions of rural Corsica in the Mecca of Corsican identity. The Serrurier barracks, built in the 19th century by the French army, was renovated by the architect Andrea Bruno. A nice visit is a must!

Vooral het buitengedeelte met informatie mogelijkheid via QR code was mooi en boeiend.

Une visite à faire absolument, j'y est passé deux heures avec ma femme et mes enfants la vue de la citadelle est à couper le souffle et ont n'y apprend beaucoup sur l'île

Manque de date ,explication trop petite on peu rien lire, trop sombre on ne voit pas les objets et pour certain on ne sait pas a quoi ça sert

Il est vraiment dommage de ne pas indiquer sur votre site quand vous prenez des vacances!! Nous sommes venus d’Ajaccio (deux heures de train) car il était indiqué ouvert sur Internet et finalement vous êtes fermés c’est désolant!!
