Baroque cathedral dating from the first half of the century in Cervione

This Baroque cathedral dates from the first half of the 18th century. The date 1714, engraved on the north wall, marks the start of construction. The interior decoration is a pure example of Baroque art in Corsica: marble, carved wood, painted frescoes and, above all, an 18th-century organ. Today, the cathedral's magnificent ochre-yellow color immediately catches the eye in this mountain-perched village.
