Characteristic Romanesque church in the rural and religious architecture of southern Corsica at Quenza

Located in Quenza, 45 km from Porto-Vecchio and 38 km from Propriano, the church is characteristic of the rural and religious architecture of southern Corsica, all in grey granite ashlar. You can visit this parish church in Romanesque style incorporating classical elements, which contains beautiful paintings and whose sacristy is classified as a Historical Monument. There are some blocks of green serpentine of Romanesque origin on the façade. Hikers crossing Quenza will not miss the chapel of Santa Maria, in the same vein.
