The Milelli estate, located on the heights of Ajaccio, was the summer residence of the Bonaparte family. The future emperor stayed there on his return from Egypt, in the company of Berthier, Murat and Lannes. Bequeathed to the city, the property is a public garden surrounded by a centuries-old olive grove, an arboretum planted with nearly 70 species of Mediterranean species; vegetable gardens have also been made available to people of modest means. the 12 hectares are ideal for walking or resting in the shade of gigantic olive trees.
