Un havre de paix à 2 mn du centre d'Ajaccio. Accueil très bienveillant. Un joli jardin intimiste et cocooning où on peut se ressourcer. La chambre est impeccable avec ses rangements. Quant au petit déjeuner, copieux extra.

Une déconvenue de logement nous a amené vers cet hôtel, heureusement qu'il restait une chambre disponible car nous y avons trouvé un accueil chaleureux et au petits soins. Tout a été mis en oeuvre pour nous faciliter notre séjour.
Nous recommandons cet hôtel pour son charme intimiste, le service hôtelier et son emplacement.

Chambre de bonne taille,lumineuse,propre et dotée de nombreux rangements. |Bon rapport qualité prix.|Accueil sympathique. |Dommage qu'il y ait parfois des odeurs d'égout remontant par la salle de bain et quelques difficultés pour trouver une place de stationnement.

Sehr freundliches, herzliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber wurde täglich gereinigt. Kleiner Kühlschrank und Tresor vorhanden. An ruhiger Lage. Empfehlung zum wieder kommen.

Off a quiet one way street a block back from the very busy promenade in Ajaccio about 1km along from the centre. It has a courtyard facing the road side where breakfast is served ( kudos to Louis here...) but that's all the catering...nor is there a bar.|First floor room at the front was spacious and had recent and tasteful decor. A room safe ( not attached to anything though) and a powerful fridge (v necessary this summer ), and a very good shower. Comfortable bed. Narrow balcony with a table and chairs but the outlook is just the rear of apartment blocks and the small front courtyard. ||Breakfast was tasty...Corsican products..no egg options though. Refills of everything gladly offered. |Parking...no car park but plenty of free parking in the surrounding streets and the area feels very safe.|The Trottel beach which is very nice is just a 5 minute walk.|There is no lift and the floors are tall so a bit of luggage lugging. |A lift and some hot breakfast options would boost it to 5 blobs. Price seems going rate fir Ajaccio in August..

Hotel Marengo is an exceptional place: one of the rare examples of hotels that still operate following the best traditions of hospitality. Although we only stayed two nights, Marie, the directrice welcomed us in person when we arrived and attended to all our needs. When we left for a boat trip early in the morning the next day, Louis, the chef awaited us with freshly brewed coffee and also prepared us a bottle full of coffee for the boat; amazingly, they didn't even let us pay for all this. Marengo is a two-star hotel - and I understand why: the stairs are steep and there is no elevator. Still, I would choose it over many hotels of a much higher ranking. Our room was simple but clean, convenient and tastefully furnished. The city center is a very pleasant, 15-20 minute walk from the hotel along the seaside. There is also a beach within 2 minutes from the hotel. I would really recommend Hotel Marengo to everyone who wishes to stay in Ajaccio.

Staff gentilissimo, hotel accogliente con uno splendido giardino dove fare una buonissima colazione. Abbastanza vicino al centro raggiungibile a piedi con una piacevole passeggiata lungomare. La signora che ci ha accolto é un plus alla struttura. Prezzo onesto. Consigliatissimo.

Parfait pour une halte à Ajaccio . Idéalement situé , a proximité des plages et des commerces. Vous pourrez rejoindre la vieille ville à pieds .|L'accueil ici est très bon, les chambres spacieuses et très propres . Le petit déjeuner est très complet et très bien servi sur l'agréable petite terrasse.|Je recommande chaudement "le Marengo"

Merveilleux petit hôtel. D une grande propreté. Un joli jardin fleuri pour se détendre, à 2 pas de la mer ou du centre ville ancien, dans un beau quartier paisible. Un accueil chaleureux, un petit déjeuner sur mesure. De la gentillesse et de la bienveillance, que ça fait du bien!
