3 star hotel in the center of Ajaccio with a garden, many terraces, restaurants and bars
This three-star hotel is open all year round (except Christmas vacations) and offers around a hundred rooms, all with sea views. Located right in the center of Ajaccio, opposite the Amirauté marina, it's a 15-minute walk to the Palais des expositions or the city center. Thanks to its facilities, this hotel is as much a vacation hotel as a business hotel. There's a garden with numerous terraces, restaurants and bars, and a year-round indoor heated swimming pool. What more could you ask for?

Lors de mon séjour, il m’a été expliqué que la climatisation ne fonctionnait plus, et l’on m’a proposé de me faire rembourser l’intégralité de mon séjour si je le désirai dès mon arrivée à la réception et en AUCUN CAS de me reloger dans un autre hôtel. Cependant, ayant voyagé pour le travail et mes réservations étant soumises à approbation de mes supérieurs, je n’ai pas pu opter pour un remboursement.
J’ai donc été logé au 6ème étage, sans climatisation je vous laisse imaginer avec cependant une magnifique vue mer. Néanmoins je pense avoir vécu ma pire nuit dans un hôtel, avec un chaleur étouffante et tout simplement l’impossibilité d’ouvrir la porte fenêtre, ma chambre étant positionné juste au dessus du générateur électrique qui faisait un bruit assourdissant. Autant dire que je n’ai pas dormi de la nuit. Le petit déjeuner était offert à l’ensemble des résidents de l’hôtel en contrepartie, bien maigre compensation… heureusement j’ai pu être délogé les deux nuits suivantes, de l’autre côté de avec une chambre sans vue, mais avec toutefois la possibilité cette fois-ci de pouvoir ouvrir la fenêtre.
De manière plus globale, l’hôtel est quand même assez vieillissant et nécessiterait un grand lifting, les prises de courant sont difficiles d’accès et pas très visibles, les salles de bain font le job sans être elles aussi très modernes.
Gros point positif, piscine à l’abris des regards et d’aspect verdoyante surplombant la ville.
-Strangers entering your room after 9 pm;
-Being locked out of your own room two days after they "fixed" the problem;
-The fact the receptionist don't seem to fully understand neither french or English;
-To not be heard when you complain about any of these things;
-Broken loungers (so you can lay on the ground);
-To overpay for your stay becuse quality does not match the price.
If you like the above I would strongly recommend this hotel. None of these things seemed to surprise the hotel so I think all of these things happen regularly.
One thing is sure, we won't book here again.
