We sit down around the table to get to know this family business and its vineyard, which is 100% located in Sézanne, i.e. 13 hectares. In the range, let's mention "La cuvée fût de chêne" (oak barrel vintage) with a dominant pinot noir (70%), associated with 30% of chardonnay, a champagne which benefits from four years of ageing (3 years of which 1 year in oak barrel), ideal as an aperitif or with a fricassee of scallops with butter... The visit is free for individuals but it is by appointment only so remember to call before coming to the domain.

The Cave des Lombards is the perfect place if you are looking for a good bottle. Cédric Morizot, the owner of the place, has made a selection of champagnes and there are of course some references from the vineyards of the Sezannais hillsides. The other champagne products are not left out with the beer of Valmy, the champagne cider, the ratafia, the fine, without forgetting the old marc. The store also has a large selection of wines from other regions of France. A small delicatessen section completes the whole.

Founded in 1967, the house is housed in a former farmhouse. The tailor-made tour by the owner-growers can be adapted to your wishes and level of knowledge. On tasting, Maurice Dugay & Comte de Montgivroux champagnes reveal themselves to be flamboyant. The 2009 vintage and the 100% Chardonnay Cuvée Spéciale melt in our mouths. And what can we say about their ratafia or their vieille fine de la Marne? Nothing but divine! These little jewels will enhance your aperitifs with accents of terroir and good humor. Cheers!

This champagne is the result of the work done by disabled people in the vineyard. Located in the Champagne vineyards, the E.S.A.T. (Etablissement et Services d'Aide par le Travail) of Sézanne has focused part of its activity on the work of the vine and the wine of Champagne. The range consists of a Brut and a Rosé, with a high proportion of reserve wines (about 45%) which guarantees a constant quality. The Brut is an elegant accompaniment to savory dishes or a convivial aperitif. The Rosé will reveal itself with dishes of character.
