The Champagne house Henry de Vaugency is installed in Oger since 1732. This vineyard uses only the chardonnay grand cru classé grape variety for the elaboration of its champagnes. We will quote: the cuvée Carte Noire (grand cru) aged three years in cellar with its brilliant and clear dress or the cuvée Sélection (grand cru) aged five years in cellar with its golden dress tending to the yellow straw. Bruno and his son Laurent now manage this discreet estate, which is committed to organic farming. Old Chardonnay vines and barrel ageing enable them to produce a range of 6 full-bodied, powerful and dense champagnes: the House's emblematic Brut Original, the Réserve Orpair (a pluri-parcelaire from Oger), the Ordage (perpetual reserve), as well as the Millésimes Rossignol and Les Rossignols. Located in Oger, the Chapuis vineyard is an 8-hectare family business that has been in operation since 1952. Today, it's run by Arnold and his two daughters. Each year, the winery produces wines of the highest quality, such as this rich, complex vintage Blanc de Blancs, with notes of roasted coffee and toast.
