Located in Ludes, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, Maison Canard-Duchêne, founded in 1868, has preserved the roots from which it draws its authentic, natural and warm character. Take a tour of part of the cellars to discover the main stages in the production of their champagnes, before popping the cork for the traditional tasting session. And if you've always dreamed of learning how to wield a saber to impress your guests, head to the century-old park surrounding the estate for an introductory saber-wielding workshop.

January to February, Monday to Friday and March to December, Monday to Saturday (Sundays and public holidays, please consult). Guided tours at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 2 pm, 3 pm, 4:30 pm. In English, French and German. Reservations recommended. Tours from €19 to €35 per person, including tasting. Group rates on request.

The Maison Canard-Duchêne invites you to discover a part of the old cellars of the Château de Ludes. Hand-cut in the 19th century, they extend over 6 kilometers and
4 levels, between 12 and 38 meters deep. In the company of a guide, visit the cellars of the House, discover its history and the stages of the elaboration of champagne.

Un grand merci à Isabel qui a été une super guide, on apprend avec l histoire de la maison bien sûr mais aussi la fabrication du Champagne et pleins d anecdotes amusantes.
A faire si vous voulez voire de jolies caves et que vous êtes pas très loin de Reims ou Epernay.
