The shell cellar, where you can see a giant snail, sea urchins and corals in Fleury-la-Rivière.

La Cave aux Coquillages is a unique site combining history and paleontology. Discover fossilized shells dating back 45 million years, evidence of a time when Champagne was a tropical beach. Immerse yourself in this fascinating underground world and let yourself be guided by passionate local guides. Guided tour, fun and educational! When you emerge, soak up the beauty of the surrounding landscape and enjoy a glass of Champagne at one of the nearby wineries. An unforgettable experience in the heart of the Marne.

Boring and overpriced. There’s a lot of the same shells, over and over again.
Tour is not in English, they give you some printed papers that are really hard to follow without knowing where you are: having some numbers to indicate the steps you’re in would help.
The whole thing could use a rebranding and thinking if the experience more fo make it more entertaining and engaging. The really cool part is when they show you the digging process, I would expand a lot of that to provide more insights and shorten the tour by half.
