In 1825, Joseph Perrier founded Joseph Perrier Fils et Cie and set up shop in Châlons-sur-Marne on the route de Fagnières. Since its creation, the company has grown in size. The Gallo-Roman cellars are carved out of a chalk hillside over a distance of more than 5 km and, surprisingly, there are no stairs to climb down! Cut into the hillside, you enter on the same level. The vineyards are located in some of Champagne's finest crus, including Cumières and Hautvillers. 24 hectares ideally situated on the slopes, giving birth to truly sumptuous wines.

Champagne Joseph Perrier is a historic, family-owned and independent Champagne house founded in 1825 on the Avenue de Paris in Châlons-en-Champagne. It operates 23 hectares of hillside vineyards on the banks of the Marne River. It extracts the finest grapes through meticulous selection and hand-picking to preserve their quality and delicacy. The house works in historic cellars nearly three kilometers long, with Gallo-Roman architecture. Illuminated by skylights, these guarantee natural ventilation, ideal for royal and vintage cuvées. Joseph Perrier's expertise, exemplified by the pursuit of excellence and respect for Champagne traditions, has been passed down through six generations. Benjamin Fourmon, winegrower and general manager of the winery since 2014, continues the adventure. He offers you his cuvées of excellence in his boutique. For example, you can purchase the Cuvée Joséphine 2014. This vintage, made from the finest grape varieties, celebrates the marriage of the founder's daughter over the years. This cuvée is a brilliant golden yellow with a subtle, inspiring fragrance. You'll also find Brut, Demi-sec, Vintage, Brut Blanc, Rosé and Nature products. An excellent address for amateurs and connoisseurs alike!
