In the 16thcentury , the Beaufort family was already cultivating vines in the region. In 1929, Marcellin and his son Herbert decided to start producing champagne. Today, Henry, Hugues and Ludovic have taken up the torch. The vineyard covers 16.50 hectares, mainly planted with Pinot Noir and supplemented with Chardonnay. Bouzy rouge, an elegant ruby-red wine, is carefully preserved in the subsoil for two years.
