Spectacular limestone underground of a family business in Saint-Astier, with galleries with mazes of 12 m high

This family business manufactures natural lime and high-end coatings from the subsoil. It celebrated its 110th anniversary in 2022, and has been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label! You can visit part of the 40 ha of quarry to learn more about the manufacturing process: you can follow the site manager in the galleries of this spectacular limestone underground. You have to wear a helmet to go through the 12 meters high mazes... Unusual!
