Open from Monday to Saturday. From September 1st to June 30th by appointment. From 1st July to 1st September, visits at 10.30 am, 3.30 pm. Closed on Sundays all year round. Visit: 3 € for children over 3 years old.

We are located in the Périgord Noir, between Sarlat and Souillac.

The 4 Winds Farm is located on our family land. Eager to give life to a forgotten know-how and to wasteland, Mathieu Lauvie, supported by his family, decided to take over the Domaine in 2011 to give it a second wind.

This will and the desire to develop an atypical activity adapted to our environment led him to the production of Mohair.

The ground that our 150 goats walk on every day is the same ground that the Merinos once walked on.

The wool was spun by our ancestors. Our mohair brings back to life this family history which has been perpetuated for several generations.

One of our activities : the breeding of angora goats

Angora goats are atypical animals both in terms of appearance and breeding methods. Special care is given to them daily.

We are daily attentive to their well-being, it is our priority. Our goats live in a large cottage renovated by us and adapted to their needs.

The breeding of these animals and their reproduction are essential elements.

A mastery of genetics and phylogeny are essential parameters for the production of a high quality Mohair.

Mohair sorting

The sorting of Mohair is done manually, the knowledge is essential to keep only the quintessence of the fiber which will be then transformed to be proposed to you thereafter.

A product made in France

The Mohair that we offer you as well as the products that result from it are from our lands. It is therefore a French product elaborated with passion and attention. The addition of our knowledge to the needle and the tailoring of your desires of Mohair are pleasures that we want to share with you!
