The harbour master's office welcomes all sailors wishing to sail on the Orient Lake. It is also a tourist information point on the regional site, ideal for discovering all the activities and opportunities offered by the region. The Maison des lacs houses a club house, an exhibition room on the large lakes of the Seine (IIBRBS), and the harbour master's office for the information and reception of boaters.

This AAPPMA brings together 800 fishermen from the lakes of the East forest and manages the three lakes, free water grade 2, regulated by decree prefecture taken under the environmental code. Water plans shall be subject to close periods determined by the symbol of the waters, to specific measures which could be taken for the protection of the herd or by reason of the lowering of the level of the waters, without prejudice to the fishing card holders. A permanent on Mondays after Noon is carried out by the fishing guard of the association Didier Klitschko, in the new premises of the AAPPMA located above the harbour of Mesnil-Saint-Father. Fishers come here to learn and acquire their fishing licences.
