Castle full of history with chapel, vaulted rooms, large fireplace, murals and Louis XV lounge. Guided tours.

The visit of the castle retraces the tragic, happy and sometimes incredible history of this historical monument, classified and furnished in 1520. It remained in the same family until 1925, and then had several owners until it was bequeathed in 1950 to the Fondation de l'Isle, which works in favor of children in difficulty. The exterior (with its mullioned windows, machicolations and chapel), as well as the interior (with its vaulted rooms, monumental fireplace, wall paintings, large Louis XV salon and furniture) are worth a visit!

Très agréable promenade dans ce grand parc...Un petit guide de visite vous aide à vous repérer et à reconnaître la plupart des végétaux mais un peu plus d'explications sous forme de panneaux dans les massifs serait appréciable !
