FORTIFIED SERVION CHURCH
Listed as a historic monument, the fortified church of Servion is one of the most remarkable on the Ardennes side. Fortified in the th century, this building features a square tower tower flanked by two towers of slate-studded round angles, percées percées, which give it the appearance of a small castle. The north tower has two superimposed bunkers, the south tower, a screw staircase that gives access to the floors, especially to a croisée vaulted hall. The service of worship is no longer guaranteed, but the church has been preserved by the followers of the companions of Saint-Etienne who are campaigning for its preservation. Today this prestigious place has become an amazing cultural centre. The association also established the beautiful botanical trail of the @, a 3,5 km loop (at the beginning of the church).
