Located on the Plaza Carnot square, a stone's throw from the city hall, this classical church, with its blue stone, is very austere for being rebuilt in a very military style at the initiative of Vauban - whose name is inscribed on the th century poster of the altar. That is perhaps why it is interesting! Victor Hugo, passing to Givet in 1838, will have a humorous description of his bell. Its interior, very bright, leaves a feeling of opulence. To find out: a Regency organ, the Saint Hilaire reliquary bust and the magnificent Louis XIV style stelas. Originality
Church to see at least once if you are planning to Givet. It is located on a beautiful square. Named Saint-Hilaire church but requests there much Sainte Rita. Fine woodwork to be seen.
