VILLAGE VISIT
An opportunity to discover the village of Suèvres, the churches, a circuit, the many springs and rivers.
This ancient fortified town has preserved numerous remains dating from Gallo-Roman times to the French Revolution. The village boasts two churches, including Saint-Christophe, one of the oldest religious buildings in the département, and several châteaux. The existence of numerous springs and rivers has encouraged the construction of mills since the Middle Ages (18 have been counted). A signposted trail takes you on a tour of these mills. The tourist office also offers visits to the neighboring commune of Cour-sur-Loire, which are just as interesting.
