AUGUSTINIAN CLOISTER
Cloister with half-timbered facade, used to gather houses around a church, hosts exhibitions and concerts.
The monks used existing buildings erected in 1427 by the Count of Vendôme, Louis de Bourbon. They reused existing buildings and built a cloister by uniting these buildings around a church. The site is not open to visitors (except during exhibitions or concerts), but during the opening hours of the Maison de l'Emploi, which is also located in the cloister, you can explore the first floor of the building and its garden, a successful example of architectural rehabilitation, timber-framed facade and covered cloister.
