Cloister with galleries surrounding a rectangular space and overlooking a garden, Romanesque abbey church and shroud museum

Listed as a World Heritage Site on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela, the abbey, which was completely restored in 2012, is regularly used as a film set. The site benefits from Semitour's smartphone application. This means you can use your cell phone to get explanations of the various elements of the visit. It also includes a videoguide giving explanations in sign language. Open all year round, the abbey offers a wide range of conferences and activities on its website.

Cloître Cadouin
Site intéressant et restauré. Le personnel est passionné et très accueillant. Le prix est un peu excessif mais c'est vrai qu'il est riche d'histoire. lever es yeux et sur un des mur vous verrez un restant de cadrant scolaire. L'église est aussi à faire. Une visite sympathique.

Le cloitre et l'église ferme sur un côté la belle place du village qui possède en son centre une halle aux piliers de pierre.
La toiture du clocher de l'église est originale, et le cloitre de style gothique flamboyant est très agréable à visiter.
Cette abbaye mérite un détour.
