An astonishing wooden tent showcasing the art of poaching.
It's probably the only museum in Europe to pay tribute to a crime: illegal hunting. But poaching had become a deeply rooted tradition in Sologne. After the success of a show inspired by Maurice Genevoix's Raboliot, the idea was born to create this house, where poaching techniques can be discovered through photos and objects. It's an astonishing wooden tent that houses and stages the art of poaching, worthy of the actor Carette in Renoir's La Règle du jeu, filmed nearby in La Ferté-Saint-Aubin.
