Located 12 kilometers from Lamotte-Beuvron, this small agricultural village crossed by the Beuvron and the river Loches contains some surprises. You can see the Saint-Pierre church, built in the 12th century and restored at the end of the 19th century, made of Sologne bricks, but also several mills, including the one called Ponthibault, listed and remarkably maintained, which can be visited during the Heritage Days. Just like that of La Gaucherie. To go back to the origins of Chaon, you should see the Saint-Pierre fountain, a vestige of the Middle Ages, which was once the only public water point in the village.
