Church at the foot of the royal castle, with architecture that reflects the transition between Romanesque and Gothic styles.

This former Benedictine abbey, dating from the 12th and 13th centuries, is unusual in that its architecture combines Romanesque and Gothic styles, with a nave reminiscent of Chartres Cathedral. Its stained-glass rose window, restored in the 17th century, illuminates the interior with an incredible light. The 15th-century altar of Sainte-Marie l'Égyptienne is also remarkable, as is the exterior, with its roofs embellished with buttresses and slate-covered spires. The building is currently undergoing major restoration work.
