POISSONNERIE ROYALE

The impressive place occupied by Royal Fish is far from indifferent. It has to be said that the stall is lumineusement and skilfully staged, where many seafood and fish are freshly organised on the ice regularly renewed. There is only an embarrassment of choice, because between mackerel, whiting, cod, salmon, burbot, bar, oysters, tourteaux, mussels, almonds, spiders and other marine curiosities, our heart but also our purse release… which does not stop them from telling them. With only two authentic fish harvesters in Orléans - Côte and Mer being the second, much smaller but beautifully busy also - it is time to return to this commodity becoming scarce when we are equipped with beautiful fish-fish and river provided. Thanks to this painstaking and hard work that is the fish, there is always fresh air at Les Halles Châtelet… as a royal route!
