A botanical garden of exceptional plants, with a collection of medicinal plants, rare trees and more.

Like any botanical garden worthy of the name, the one in Tours contains exceptional plants, including a ginkgo biloba that was recently voted "Tree of the Year" by the jury! In this garden, designed in 1843, you will find a collection of medicinal plants, rare trees and bulbous and ornamental plants, in the open air or in tropical greenhouses. The mini-farm, the pink flamingos and other exotic species complete the picture. Between these discoveries and the playground, children are in heaven! A family event in the heart of the city, the place is a delight for local residents and gourmets, who enjoy the home cooking of the Rendez-vous du Botanique.

Lieu idéal pour se promener en famille ou entre amis. Un jardin toujours fleuri et bien entretenu qui évolue au fil des saisons. Nombreuses activités possibles: marcher, courir, pique-niquer, lire, réviser, se détendre, découvrir la faune et la flore du parc, aire de jeu, petit restaurant dans le jardin botanique, visites guidées au cours de l'année...

Le Jardin Botany is a green area of the city of Tours. Apart from the trees, you will also find many animals including pink flamingos, wallabies, budgerigars or turtles. One of the attractions is also a mini-farm it where you can be in contact with some animals such as goats. There are also games for children, a garden with medicinal plants, the greenhouses with tropical plants and recently a corner restoration. You can have a good time with small or large.

Le jardin botanique de Tours offre un grand espace de verdure avec des jeux pour enfants situés à 2 endroits : balançoires d'un côté et structure pour grimper et glisser de l'autre. La mini ferme est accessible 2h le matin et 2h l'après midi. Un restaurant s'est ouvert au milieu du parc récemment.

Lieu à ne pas manquer à Tours. Situé en face de l'hôpital Bretonneau, le parc est riche en fleurs et arbustes. Allez y surtout au printemps où la floraison commence à poindre. Les animaux y ont aussi une place privilégiée. Jolie ballade en famille.
