Chateau with various historical periods, including two medieval towers, hosting photo, sculpture and painting exhibitions.
The château is a magnificent exhibition venue. The building spans several historical periods: two towers date from the Middle Ages, and the Pavillon de Mars in the center was built in the 18th century. The governors' logis dates from the 16th century and straddles the ancient Gallo-Roman wall. After serving as a military barracks until the 1960s, the château was turned into a municipal facility to host a variety of exhibitions. Our partnership with the Jeu de Paume allows us to discover unmissable photo exhibitions and a wide range of artists (sculptures, paintings...).

Bon ce n'est pas un très grand château comme ses voisins sur la Loire ou dans les environs et Touraine, mais il y a lieu d'être et en plus en centre ville! il est bien entretenu et rénové et ses espaces vert le met en valeur.

Belle surprise que ce château à Tours. Belle exposition et visite fluide et pas trop longue. Bref un château à taille humaine. Visite bien pensée.

Petit château bien trop méconnu! On y trouve toujours des expositions photos . Difficile de se garer, mais cela vaut l’effort de le faire.
