Here, the concept is simple: the customer buys a prepaid card and can then help himself to one of the beer dispensers scattered around the double room with its industrial decor. Ideal to taste a few centilitres before deciding, since you only pay for what you consume. And it also allows you to meet beer lovers sitting near the taps! For the shy ones, the service at the bar is also possible, with cocktails, whiskies and other wines on the menu. For the gourmets, there are sausages and comté to share. 26 years already? Owner Warren opened The Pale in 1998 to recreate a little piece of Ireland. And it worked! The Pale has become a benchmark bar on Rue Colbert, winning over Tourangeaux with its lovely terrace, pub atmosphere and friendly waiters and waitresses at the counter. Well known by the people of Tours, La P'tite Maiz produces its excellent beers close to here, in Notre-Dame-d'Oé. In 2022, the two friends Christophe and Quentin open a bar in downtown Tours and it is a success. It's not very big but you feel good around the big central counter. The list of beers offered on draught is displayed on the wall but you can also ask for advice and even taste before ordering. There is something for every taste. A little hunger shows up? So much the better, in the kitchen the chef is busy preparing beautiful things.

This is the equation at Piraat Café: Touraine bar + Belgian brasserie = this bar beloved by hop lovers. Sylvain and his team have created this new venue in autumn 2019, in place of the former Campus. On the menu, always a smile and good beers. A dozen draught beers are on offer, along with cocktails and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. All are accompanied by delicious cheese and charcuterie boards. As for entertainment, the main room and its stage occasionally host small concerts or improvisation shows, and the giant screen in the first room shows soccer or rugby for the major championships.

Installed in Tours in the summer of 2020, the pink elephant of the Belgian beer Delirium has seduced a young public fond of warm atmospheres, burgers and good beers. Since the summer of 2018, the Crafty Brew Pub has offered a vast choice all year round, which you can find your way around thanks to the staff's good advice. Enjoy your beer on the terrace or in one of the large rooms, with a generous board of charcuterie and tapenades. A big screen for match nights, darts tournaments and themed entertainment punctuate the year.
