Built in 1634 on a rocky promontory by Honorat de Bueil, the château dominates the Escotais valley. Only the west wing and part of the central building remain of the main building. It is fully furnished. During your visit, enjoy the view over the valley from the large terrace. This architectural gem will plunge you into the world of the poet Racan. Prachtig château waarvan de geschiedenis wordt verteld door een enthousiaste jonge gids. Zij neemt je mee door het verleden en door de ruimtes waar de kasteelheer nog altijd zelf resideert.
De geschiedenis is indrukwekkend en de eeuwenoude verzameling goederen is erg aansprekend. Soms sober, vaak sjiek. Vooral schouw in de eetkamer is van ongekende schoonheid. Strak en recht, voorzien van mooi schilderwerk.

Magnifique gîte. La déco est à la fois simple et soignée. Acceuil très convivial. Cadre paisible en pleine campagne tourangelle avec accès à 2 étangs pour des belles balades ou pour flâner. Lieu propice à la détente.
