Le Rivau is the perfect family getaway. The building, which has undergone very little remodeling, is an exceptional château, encircled by dry moats and tufa stone. The interior is just as majestic: vast rooms with Gothic architecture and walls adorned with Renaissance oil paintings. It's a château that marries authenticity and refinement. You can dine at the Table des Fées (locavore restaurant) or in the heart of the château, at chef Andrea Modesto's table, where he prepares gourmet cuisine using produce from the kitchen garden. The flower bar in the gardens offers tastings of drinks made from aromatic plants and flowers. Le Rivau also has 12 bedrooms, so you can enjoy the life of a château, between authenticity and modern comfort. Rose festivals, equestrian jousts, pumpkin festivals...
