The Rabelais' house, located opposite the entrance of the castle, offers you throughout the year its artisanal production of chocolates, delicious pastries and ice creams. On sunny days, take a break on the terrace to taste specialities such as the Guérandais, half-bitter chocolate mousse topped with a heart of salted caramel ganache or the cannelier, caramel mousse, cinnamon crème brûlée on a background of almond macaroon. Since June 2018, the Maison des Vins de Bourgueil has opened its second address at the foot of the Château de Langeais and offers 12 wines for tasting with a wide choice of vintages among 180 references. You can find: light and fruity "gravel" wines, more complex and racy "tuffeau" or "garde" wines and rosé wines. Throughout the summer, fun activities are planned for a better discovery of the terroirs and wines in a convivial atmosphere.

Open since December 2018, Cécile's store is making things happen with a beautiful approach that promotes fair trade. In this organic grocery store, it is the short circuits that are put forward. Natural local products, in bulk, in the "Zero Waste" approach. You can also enjoy the tea room and the small bookshop.
