Château de Chenonceau, located in the commune of Chenonceaux in Indre-et-Loire, is one of the jewels of Renaissance architecture in the Loire Valley. With its famous two-storey gallery spanning the Cher River, it is an impressive sight to behold. Built in 1513 by architect Philibert Delorme, the château is currently owned by the Menier family. In addition to a visit to the château, it is possible to combine a visit to Chenonceau with one to other châteaux in the region, such as Chambord or Azay-le-Rideau. Château de Chenonceau is a must-see for lovers of history and architecture.

The gardens of Chenonceau : a royal botanical tour !
The Renaissance garden of Diane de Poitiers, the intimate garden of Catherine de Medici, the green garden and its remarkable trees, the labyrinth, the flower garden: the botanical tour, lasting 1h30, led by Nicholas Tomlan, allows you to discover the historical gardens, their evolution over the centuries, but also the birth of more contemporary gardens such as the garden in homage to Russell Page, a great English landscape gardener of the 20th century!
Wine tour: In Chenonceau Veritas!
Starting from the castle's vineyards, this walk invites you to explore the gardens of Chenonceau at nightfall for a guided and sensory visit. Raised in the heart of a perfect alchemy between nature and unique architecture (it is one of the seven European vineyards listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the wines of the Touraine-Chenonceaux AOC will celebrate in 2021 the 10th anniversary of the recognition of the appellation. A tasting under the stars with personalities from the world of gastronomy, music and dance will mark this anniversary on 17 July.

不同于香波堡霸气炫耀的风格，舍农索城堡精巧轻盈优雅，充满女性气质之美。舍农索的历史也跟众多不同时代的法国女人的命运息息相关。
城堡里有间卧室就叫“五位王后的卧室”。舍农索的历代女主人们也有着不同的风采。
舍农索的第一位女主人是国王佛朗索瓦一世的财务总监的妻子卡特琳.布里松内，她是城堡真正的业主。数十年后的国王亨利二世将城堡送给他的宠妃戴安娜.德.普瓦捷，后者将花园改造城当时最时尚的款式，并将城堡改造成世界上唯一带桥梁的城堡；亨利二世死后，他的皇后凯瑟琳.德.美第奇就把戴安娜赶了出去。
这位来自意大利佛罗伦萨美第奇家族的凯瑟琳皇后在法国历史上是一个堪比武则天的人物，她是一任国王的皇后和三任国王的母亲，长期摄政。卡瑟琳将城堡和花园加入了很多意大利式奢华，还在城堡长桥上盖了双层长廊。
到18世纪，启蒙运动中缪斯级别的女神杜邦夫人在舍农索的沙龙聚集了伏尔泰、卢梭、孟德斯鸠社会精英，使得舍农索在大革命中免遭毁灭。
到了19世纪，出身工业资本家的玛格丽特. 贝露丝决定大力改造城堡和花园，却因一桩政治阴谋而破产。
20世纪的两次大战中，舍农索有了与之前完全不同的地位，一战中梅尼耶家族出资将长桥上的长廊改成战时医院，西蒙娜. 梅尼耶负责管理，二战期间河的一边是德国占领区，另一边则是自由区，西蒙娜多次冒险救助抵抗组织成员，让他们通过这条长桥奔向自由…… 这尼玛，此桥简直就是奈何桥，连接阴阳两界，通向光明的道路啊！
有着如此传奇往事的舍农索如今是法国除了凡尔赛宫之外参观人数最多的城堡，香波堡规模宏大但是太中规中矩，除了“大气磅礴”就没什么了，但这舍农索城堡真是处处有细节，百看不腻。
如果时间有限，卢瓦尔城堡群只能参观一座的话，我会按头安利舍农索城堡。顺便说一句，这里的女性工作人员颜值很哇塞，制服也与众不同，都是七分铅笔裤+鞋底十厘米的厚底鞋，特别有意大利风情。
