Old house in Bléré with spacious and tastefully decorated rooms at reasonable prices

In this authentic winegrower's house, built of tufa stone, two outbuildings have been converted to accommodate three guest rooms and tables d'hôtes. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. In a quiet, bucolic setting, you'll receive a warm welcome from Valérie. Upon reservation, you can enjoy a reasonably-priced table d'hôtes. The little extra: culinary workshops. Valérie is an excellent chef. A great address for lovers of tranquillity and gourmets!

Lovely B and B located near Amboise, France in the Loire Valley. Perfect location for visiting châteaus and cathedrals. Owners Valerie and Phillipe are delightful hosts showing such kindness and attention to detail. Valerie prepares the most delicious breakfasts and dinners that will compete with any professional chef quality. Her pastries are divine! Our room and bath were spacious and exceptionally clean. Highly recommend!

I wish there were more than 5 stars to leave for a review! La Pomelie was the best I have ever been treated. First of all the house and gardens are stunning both inside and out. Valerié met us upon arrival with meringues and juice and we enjoyed her and Phillip’s beautiful garden. Our room was beautiful and extremely spacious. We also had a lounge we could use next door as well. Our bathroom was perfectly appointed and large. We also enjoyed 2 dinners prepared from scratch by Valerié. They consisted of 4 courses of the most delicious, locally sourced food available. Every bite was a dream and we are buying her cookbook just so we can try and translate it at home and maybe relive part of the pleasure! Her breakfasts were homemade pastries, fruit, yogurt, and I had hot chocolate. Her pastries would be the pride of any high end bakery. I cannot think of one thing that could be improved. Thank you for ending our visit in France with such a perfect experience.

Tout était parfait ! Un grand merci à Philippe et Valérie pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. La bâtisse et le jardin sont splendides, les chambres sont décorées avec beaucoup de goût et on y dort très bien. Sans oublier le petit déjeuner que nous ne sommes pas prêts d’oublier ! Le seule regret c’est de ne pas être resté plus longtemps, mais nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

Très jolie maison d'hôtes superbement aménagée.
Belle Chambre et salle de bain spacieuse.
Ne surtout pas manquer le petit déjeuner copieux version"royal" et délicieux.

Nous avons passé une nuit à La Pomelie, précédée d'un diner à la table d'hôtes.
Nos hôtes , Valerie et Philippe, sont des personnes remarquables tant par leur gentillesse que leur disponibilité.
La chambre (Clémence) est magnifique et aménagée avec goût. Quant au repas, nous avons pu apprécier tout le talent de Valerie puisque chaque plat avait une saveur particulière. Ses explications apportées et la passion démontrée nous ont confirmé que la cuisine est une véritable passion et n'a plus de secret pour elle.
Nous conseillons vivement ce lieu.
