Rehabilitated old cloth mill with a pleasant promenade enhanced by recent improvements.
The architect Dauvergne was commissioned to rebuild the old cloth factory in the park, giving it considerable importance. Construction began in 1862 and was completed in 1869. The cathedral is the main building, classified as an industrial heritage site.
In 1873, Dauvergne built the Château Balsan for the factory's masters. Rehabilitated in 2016, it features a park with tall trees and the Musée des Arts et Traditions Populaires.
