Nightclubs are mainly located in major cities. Generally speaking, they are open from 9pm until 4 or 5am, except in Orlando, where many close at 2am. It's not uncommon for this type of venue to be closed from Sunday to Wednesday. For more family-oriented activities, such as bowling, cinema or go-karting, opening hours vary enormously from place to place. Florida also boasts a handful of casinos in Miami, Fort Myers, Tampa and Hollywood.

Budget & Tips

As in Europe, the entrance to a nightclub can be free or not. Some places organize ladies nights, where the entrance is free for ladies. A number of cinemas and theaters offer discounts for morning shows.

It is best to book your tickets in advance if you are planning to attend major shows, concerts and games.

Night transport

Some bus lines in Miami run all night, but this is not a majority. Generally speaking, for your night trips, we advise you to opt for Uber or Lyft, faster and more reliable in terms of schedules.

Age restrictions

In Florida, as everywhere in the United States, it is forbidden to consume alcohol under 21 years old. The same age limit applies to enter a nightclub. However, some clubs allow people over 18 to enter.

What's very local

Miami is particularly known for being a party mecca. Visitors come from far and wide to sway and enjoy trendy cocktails in the city's hottest spots. Some nightclubs have a strict dress code , so it's best to be informed before going out!

In Orlando, the entertainment capital of the world, you can attend a large number of dinner shows.

Smokers

While smoking is generally prohibited inside public places in Florida, some nightclubs may tolerate it.
