This is the official New England regional office of the Appalachian Trail Association. The Appalachian Trail stretches some 3,510 kilometers and is the longest trail in the world, linking Mount Springer in Georgia's Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest to Mount Katahdin in Maine's Baxter State Park.
